The following clip and scene description are from a preview clip that will be uploaded to Nick.COM later today. Antonio wakes up from a major battle to find Deker unarmed and within striking distance. Will he take this opportunity?
Power Rangers Super Samurai “Stroke of Fate” is listed on TVGuide.COM
and Zap2It.COM. The episode will air on October 20th at 1:00PM EST.
Here are the episode summaries from the episode.
In instagram of Najee De-Tigre (Blue Ranger- Kevin) published photo of Power Rangers Samurai, where we Erika Fong (Pink Ranger- Mia Watanabe), Alex Heartman (Red Ranger- Jayden Shiba), Hector David JR (Green Ranger- Mike) and Brittany Pirtle (Yellow Ranger- Emily):
After a long summer of reruns, Nick finally decided to air the Power
Rangers: Super Samurai Fall Teaser 2. The promo highlights scenes from
the final episodes of Power Rangers: Super Samurai episodes, including
the Halloween Special “Trickster Treat.” Shinkenger fans may notice the
Sentai footage from Shinkenger Returns. The Halloween special will be
heavily composed of Sentai footage.
The Power Rangers Super Samurai Fall Teaser aired today on Nick
during Spongebob Squarepants. Here is the movie clip that I captured on
Nick HD.
A brief description for the new Super Samurai Halloween Special, “Trickster Treat,
which airs 10/27 airing in the new time-slot of 1PM has been revealed: “Master Xandred and Octoroo deploy a mind-bending Nighlok named
Trickster, trapping the Power Rangers in a series of horror movies. The
Rangers must figure out what is reality and what is illusion. Will the
Rangers escape the nightmare?”
The Christmas Special, “Stuck On Christmas” is set to air 12/8 a week after the Super Samurai Finale. “After battling a humbug of a Nighlok, GRED, the Samurai Rangers
find themselves stranded inside a malfunctioning Megazord! Will the
Christmas spirit, determination and, teamwork be enough to get the
Rangers home in time to celebrate the holiday?”
I for one am excited to see a Halloween
and Christmas Special with an actual Nighlok for them to battle. It also
looks like the Christmas special is going to be shown out of continuity
as the episode premieres a week after the final battle of Super
Samurai!

Power Rangers Samurai Christmas Together, Friends Forever DVD Review

Power Rangers: Samurai Christmas Special
I got my review copy of the upcoming Power Rangers Samurai Christmas Together, Friends Forever DVD in the mail today! These DVDs are produced by Lionsgate and will release on October 16th. You can pre-order your copy today at Amazon.
Unboxing the Power Rangers Samurai Christmas Together, Friends Forever DVD
The front cover of the Christmas DVD box is an improvement from the Monster Bash DVD, but not as spectacular as the previous Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Samurai DVDs. The bright color usage of the box is a nice touch, but doesn’t scream Christmas. The primary graphic featuring the Rangers in front of a Christmas Tree makes up for the theme. The back cover looks great with the usage of promotional photos for the three episodes. This DVD comes with a glossy O-card packaging, which resembles the concept used in the Samurai and Super Samurai DVDs. The artwork used on the box covers is also rendered on the DVDs. No printed material or advertisement was included with the DVD. Click on the images below to view their full size.
Power Rangers Samurai Christmas Together Friends Forever DVD consists of the Power Rangers Samurai Christmas Together, Friends Forever
episode and two Power Rangers Holiday specials: I’m Dreaming of a White
Ranger (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and A Season To Remember (Power
Rangers Zeo). The DVD is 63 minutes long.
DVD Menus
The primary graphic in the DVD Main Menu is the same one used on the DVD
Box. Just like the DVD Box Cover, the DVD Menu is not as great as the
previous Lionsgate DVDs. The menu continues the tradition with the Power
Rangers Samurai instrumental music. I preferred the look of the
secondary menus over the primary ones. The secondary menus utilizes
images from the Christmas Together episodes. No music is played on the
secondary menus. As mentioned in the past Lionsgate reviews, the DVD
menus look solid with artwork and the appropriate font usage, in
addition to the Power Rangers Samurai instrumental music playing in the
background. The chosen images for the Samurai and Mighty Morphin
episodes are great, but the Zeo ones feels off with the usage of the Zeo
villains. I would’ve preferred another shot of the Rangers. I have
uploaded a few of the menu screenshots to Samurai Cast.
Episodes
Christmas Together, Friends Forever
Power Rangers Samurai “Christmas Together, Friends Forever” is the
Full Screen (4:3) rather than the Widescreen version that we’ve seen on
television and Netflix. This is the same format that was used on the
Monster Bash DVD. The format makes sense to resemble the same format
used in the two Power Rangers specials. Despite the full screen
resolution, the video and audio quality looks great. I would’ve
preferred the widescreen format. The episode ends with the full screen
credits (rather than the split screen credits), which can also be seen
on NickToons and Netflix versions. For more information on Power
Rangers: Samurai “Christmas Together, Friends Forever”, check out the Episode Guide on Samurai Cast.
Power Rangers Holiday Specials
I’m Dreaming of a White Ranger (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and A
Season To Remember (Power Rangers Zeo). The quality is pretty close to
the great quality from the Shout! Factory DVD Box Set.
Both of the episodes had the Saban Brands logo animation (seen after
every Power Rangers Samurai episodes) after the end credits. Mighty
Morphin Power Rangers Season 3 “I’m Dreaming of a White Ranger” is the
standard 21 minute version (and not the 29 minute VHS version based on
SirStack’s Episode Comparison).
I loved both of these holiday specials. One interesting addition was
the Tanya’s “Stick Together” Music Video. This music video played after
the Zeo holiday special.
Bonus Features
The Power Rangers holiday episodes were the primary bonus features on
this DVD. The DVD also includes the Power Rangers Swarm video, Train
like a Ranger video, and the Mega Bloks Holiday toymation.
Mega Bloks Holiday Toymation
The Mega Bloks Holiday Toymation was an adorable animation sequence
created by Mega Bloks. I enjoyed this video over the other bonus
features.
Train like a Ranger
The DVD comes with 5 ”Train like a Ranger” videos. You can watch these videos on the Official Youtube Channel.
Trailers
The DVD starts with the following trailers: Power Rangers Samurai
DVDs, Wolverine and X-Men Blu-ray, Next Avengers DVD, and Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles DVD. These trailers are also included in the Special
Features section of both Power Rangers Super Samurai DVDs. The following
video is the Power Rangers: Samurai DVD Promo.
